BSL Level 2

I completed my British Sign Language Level 2 Course during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the difficulties of the situation of not having face-to-face sessions, Debra provided me with regular support on a weekly basis. We would complete weekly video-calls through Zoom, where we would practice signing in preparation for my exams. This worked very well when practising for the presentation aspect of the course. I was able to sign through my presentation on a weekly basis, helping me to learn and improve the pace of my signing. Debra would always provide constructive feedback on how to improve my signing skills in preparation for the exam. This helped me to feel very prepared for the exam. 

I was able to complete my presentation exam on a Zoom video-call and Debra was able to record this easily to send off. Debra would also send me regular homework, consisting of BSL videos, for me to watch and practice at home and then answer questions about the videos. This was really useful to me as it helped to improve my BSL receptive skills for the receptive exam.

Debra was always very helpful and supportive to me. If I had any questions I was able to email her for support and she was always more than happy to help in any way that she could. Thank you Debra for your continued support.  C Garrett, 2020
