Deaf Awareness – May 2018

I thought it was a brilliant day!

It was so nice to meet others with similar experiences to me and others who are also committed to improving our working environment and staff awareness.

A big thank you to Debra Freeman for all her patience with us and fantastic sense of humour.  I thought the delivery was very well thought out and the practicality of attempting some of those hands on situations really opened my eyes and experience.

I have nothing bad to say and think she made a good choice with her interpreter Simon!

Well done to others (Deborah) involved with bringing the idea to the forefront and making it happen.
