2017 – Deaf Awareness

The very enjoyable session which I took part in Deaf Awareness.

Debra presented the whole session in a very good way the game played re guessing the statistics was very revealing and interesting.   The predicament staff were placed in in the afternoon session when we were asked to wear the ear plugs and defenders so that we could experience for ourselves what it is like to be deaf was very helpful and enabled us to see how disorientating an experience it is to be Deaf.

The picture drawing session was brilliant and had me nearly in tears laughing it was so hilarious.   Also the lip reading session guessing the words from a colleague was very good.
